Condolences

Condolence From: Marcella Williams Horner
Condolence: .Frani and I were good friends in St. Peter's high school. She was very aware of social injustice and ahead of her time in our little town of New Castle, Delaware. Everyone liked Frani; not because she conformed but because she never compromised her ideals. She was our senior Prom Queen and beautiful person in every way. The world is a sadder place without her. I hope to meet her again. Love you, Frani!

Condolence From: Linda Batlin
Condolence: I am deeply, deeply saddened at the news of Frani’s passing. We had been close friends for many years but had drifted apart in recent years. But I still smile when I think of all the joyous times we spent together..working together at NOAA, at the CWA, going on the Holiday tour of homes and all the meals and laughs we shared. My condolences to Tom and Ashley and the rest of the family.

Condolence: I knew F.T. as "Frannie" or "Fran" when I worked with her in the Marine Geology & Geophysics division at the National Geophysical Data Center in the early 90's. She provided customer service and helped ship out data products to customers. I have fond memories of her laughter and her friendly way of working with me and others. She was always very detailed in how she approached things and always had a smile on her face. A special memory of mine was when she introduced me to the joy of tasting a hazelnut Americano coffee with a biscotti biscuit at Starbucks. I also remember watching her family cat while she and her husband were out of town many years ago. While I am sad to hear of her passing, she has left me with a very positive memory of her presence and her wonderful sense of humor. My heart and prayers go out to her family - but I know that Frannie was well liked and will be missed by many who knew her.

Sincerely,

Kim Nye

Condolence: I had the privilege and pleasure to work with FT in the NOAA Library and to run into her often when we both changed positions at NOAA. FT may have been the kindest person I have ever met, and yes, I loved being in her calm presence. Please accept my condolences. FT will be missed.

God's blessings to her family,
Debbie

Condolence:
Please accept my sincere condolences for your recent loss. My heart goes out to you and your family. I have always received comfort from the Bibles’ word at Philippians 4:7 which reads “and the peace of God that surpasses all understanding will guard your heart and your mental powers by means of Christ Jesus”.
I hope you can receive comfort from these words as well. Margo Simmons

Condolence: I am deeply saddened to hear about FT's passing. Although I never worked directly with her I knew her for many years at NOAA. She always had a nice, smiley face and good things to say.

She is greatly missed. My sincere condolences to her family.

Condolence: FT and I participated in Toastmasters on the Dept. of Commerce site about 25 years ago. She had lively talks that always made you smile. Then I was lucky to be in the weekly Tai Chi class with her in just the last 6 or so months. That span of years does not seem so long now and we will miss her.
