Condolence: Jack and I were fellow PhD students at Kent State University. We had many great discussions about all kinds of topics. He definitely lived life to its fullest. One of my best memories is a trip to Shadow Lake Lodge in Banff National Park. After staying one night at the lodge, we got up the next morning and had a beautiful fall hike of 20 miles through the Canadian Rockies. He was a very special person and always looking for new and exciting adventures.

Condolence: Jack had the office next to mine when he was Director of Flight Training at TWA in St. Louis. There was a large gap in the wall between our offices and he frequently tossed a nerf ball, notes or bad jokes on rumpled paper through it. Jack mentored and befriended me when I was a new director. He modeled an incredible sense of kindness, integrity and honor from which we all benefited. I will always miss his laughter, twinkling eyes and extraordinary friendship. Jack was a truly brilliant and honorable man. Happy Landing, Jack! Wendy Ganse

Condolence: Jack, thanking you for the incredible experience at USA3000. You were a mentor, a colleague, a friend, and a fatherly figure. You took care of your people at work and wanted to be there for everyone. Thank you for the time you gave us. Now it is time for you to fly like an Eagle without any obstacles and be present with the Lord himself. The heavens are that much richer with your soul in it. God bless his family and loved ones.
Best regards,
Shan Iwanicki

Condolence: Very sorry to hear about the loss of Jack. I got to know Jack as USA 3000 was a member airline of the National Air Carrier Association. Jack always attended our meetings. He was very involved in the discussions and a true advocate for the industry. He was always very kind and personable and I appreciated the opportunity to get to know him. Till next time Jack.

Condolence: I am so grateful to Jack for taking a chance on me to be his Chief Pilot at USA 3000 Airlines. Jack provided me with lots of opportunities to grow and learn. Not only did I learn so much about running an airline, but I was able to spend a lot of time in DC Learning about the regulatory part of aviation. Jack was always pushing me to learn as much as I could about the airline industry. I know that it is because of Jack’s mentoring that I am where I am today (Captain at Delta Air Lines). I know he would be proud of me. Thank you Jack, Blue Skies and Tail Winds my friend.

Condolence: I’m so sad to hear about Jack! We worked together for many years at USA 3000 Airlines! We had our fair share of challenges but always made things happen for the right reasons. Jack was a very nice man and put great effort into his work as the Director of Operations! I always appreciated his support in backing me up with all decision making and ensuring the best for everyone. We often sat and talked after the end of the day about life and our past experiences as Air Force pilots and the airline business! He achieved many things in life to include a doctorate degree! I’m sure he’s still keeping busy and taking on challenges in his eternal life. Take care Jack and see you later! Tim
