Anna Wessinger Scott, 63, of Louisville, Colorado passed away on February, 11, 2014 in Boulder, Colorado. Anna was born on August 18, 1950 in Thomasville, North Carolina to Charles and Alice Wessinger. She earned a BS degree in Sociology from Duke University and a MSW in Social Work from the University of South Carolina. On June 10, 1972 Anna and Paul were married in Charleston, South Carolina. Anna was an active member and a devoted teacher of the Baha’i Faith. Despite her severe physical disabilities, Anna remained positive and was a source of inspiration to all who knew her. Anna is survived by her husband, Paul; children, Daniel Scott and Kim Smith; siblings, Beth Doulgerakis and Sam Wessinger; and grandchildren, Kian Smith and Kolton Smith. The funeral service will be officiated by Martin McCluskey for the Spiritual Assembly of the Baha’i’s of Louisville. Contribution may be made to the National MS Society or the U.S. Funding for UNICEF.
