Barbara Anne Kosenski, 79, of Lafayette, CO, died Sunday.
She was born in Chicago, IL, on August 9, 1934. She attended the University of Illinois and the College of Puget Sound in Tacoma, Washington. She married her husband, John Kosenski, on May 3, 1958. They lived in the Boulder area for 40 years.
Barbara was the mother of 10. She loved her family with all her heart, and extended her love & kindness to all she met. Caring for people – family, friends and strangers - was her purpose in life.
Barbara is survived by her husband, John, and her nine children: Peter, Mary, Joseph, Annie, Jim, John, Michael, Paul and Joy. She is survived by her two brothers – Fred & Peter Clarke. She is also survived by three grandchildren. She is preceded in death by her daughter Monica.
In lieu of flowers, the family is requesting that donations be made to the American Diabetes Association.
