Betty Klapman

Betty Jean Klapman, 85, of Boulder, CO died of natural causes September 9, 2014. Betty was born March 23, 1929 in Chicago, IL to Esther and Morris Axelrod. She was locally famous at birth for her survival - three months premature, she was 15 oz. at birth and a “blue baby”. Her survival was considered a minor miracle.
Betty was a teacher in K-2 and a member at Temple Akiba in Culver City, CA.
The most important thing in her life was her kids. Betty is survived by her daughter, Ora Goldman and son, Craig Klapman as well as brothers Alfred Axelrod and Eugene Axelrod. She is also survived by her grandchildren; Yechezkel Goldman, Betzatel Goldman and Ateret Goldman; nephew Aaron Axelrod and niece Shari Axelrod. She was preceded in death by her parents.
