Boyd Sheets

Boyd E. Sheets, 71, of Longmont passed away on November 14, 2018 in Longmont. Boyd was born on January 27, 1947 in Sioux Rapids, Iowa to Howard and Ina Sheets. Boyd earned a B.A. Degree and worked for the Colorado Department of Natural Resources. Boyd was a member of the Elks Lodge and was interested in sports, hunting and fishing. He earned a special award as the long-time Secretary/Treasurer of the Colorado Association of Cemeteries. Dorothy and Boyd were married on August 9, 1975 at the First Assembly of God Church in Boulder. Boyd is survived by his wife, Dorothy; sons, Troy R. Sheets and Nathen H. Sheets; siblings, Richard Sheets and Steven Sheets; and grandchildren, Eliana Crespo and Vicente Crespo. He was preceded in death by Jordan J. Sheets. A memorial service will be held at a later date.
