Charles Reid Carrington III, known as Charlie to his loved ones, passed away at his home on April 19th at 71 years of age.
Charlie was an adventurer at heart. He embarked on solo motorcycle trips spanning the United States and beyond. He was an avid rock climber for many years. Always seeking the next expedition, he enjoyed camping, skiing, and going on winter hut trips. He always preferred walking or biking over driving. Charlie was also an avid reader of science fiction and free thinker literature by Dawkins, Harris, and Hitchens. For many years a software developer by trade, he lived simply and comfortably at his home by the Boulder foothills.
Charlie found deep love in his relationships with Beverly, Robin, and Barb over his lifetime, and cared for them all immensely. He is survived by and remembered in fond memories by family and friends.
