Dante Young

Dante Fitzgerald Jack Young was born January 7, 1986 to Kimberly Young and Sherman Robinson. Dante was very smart and he loved his family dearly, especially his grandmother Bonnie. Dante attended CICS Longwood throughout elementary and middle school, where he graduated and went to Fenger Academy for highschool. Dante or TayTay as his family lovingly called him was overprotective and a protector to all he knew and loved. He inherited some of those protective ways from his father figures throughout life, His uncle Oscar Johnson (Deceased), his uncle Fred Young and his cousin Leroy “June” McCoy. Dante leaves behind one child, his daughter Angelique and three brothers Delvoun, Patrick and Daniel. Dante is preceded in death by his grandfather Jack Young and his step father, Russel Barnett. If he was here today, he’d say “Don’t cry for me, party instead for I am in a better place”. Dante will be missed as much as he was/is loved. Dante was called home on September 13, 2021. Although his death untimely, he always had a unique way of bringing his family together and keeping smiles on our faces no matter the circumstance.
