David Raymond Talcott was born October 26, 1950 to Ray and Shirley Talcott in Boulder, Colorado. Dave passed away at the age of 73, on January 12, 2024 at his home near Rollinsville, Colorado. He graduated from Boulder High School in 1969. Shortly after, Dave went to Banff, Canada to attend photography school. He had a love for all things outdoors, he enjoyed kayaking, canoeing, and hiking. Dave spent six months in the South Pacific backpacking, as well as exploring the Yukon River, Snake River, and all over Colorado. He ultimately settled in a remote mountain cabin.
Dave was a gifted builder and craftsman who worked in construction for 40 years building many wonderful houses for friends and clients.
He is survived by his daughter Jin, grandson Ronin, brother Dan Talcott, sisters Cindy Miller and Sue Irwin, along with many nieces and nephews. Dave is preceeded in death by his father, Ray and mother, Shirley.
