Dennis Wade Duerksen, loving husband and father, died November 30, 2021, at the Lutheran Hospice Center. He will be greatly missed for his sense of humor, work ethic, and fun personality.
He is survived by his wife of 36 years, Mindee (Davis) Duerksen, his two sons, Wade and Jason, stepdaughter Heather Bonner, and four grandchildren, a brother, Delmar Duerksen and sister Florette Decker. He was preceded in death by his parents.
Dennis was born on April 19, 1947, to Roland and Mary Ann (Ewert) Duerksen. Dennis worked hard all his life as a truck driver and farmer and retired in 2019 doing what he loved most, farming.
A celebration of life will be held in Spring 2022, date still to be determined.
In lieu of flowers, his family asks that contributions be made to the Lutheran Hospice Center at 3210 N. Lutheran Pkwy, Wheat Ridge, CO 80033.
