Diane Klein (Bunny) Henderson, 73, passed away Monday, June 5th, 2017 in Boulder, Colorado. Bunny was the daughter of Sam and Esther (Fischler) Klein, born June 6, 1943 in Bayonne, New Jersey. She Married Eugene Henderson May 1, 1976 in Boulder.
After receiving her Masters Degree in English Bunny went on to teach and retire from the Boulder Valley School District. Her many interests included gardening, working as a vendor and board member of the Boulder Farmer’s Market and volunteering with Emergency Family Assistance. She especially enjoyed her family, friends, working in her green house and meeting customers at the farmers market.
Bunny is survived by her husband, Gene and children; Rick (Amy) Henderson, Kelly (Mark) Druin, Traci (Don) Wilson, Josh Lubow and Becca (Steve) Mollman. She is also survived by her grandchildren; Jesi Antonucci, Nicki Buquet, Collin and Tanner Wilson, Derek and Audrey Druin and great grandchildren; Noah, Brendan, Kellen, and Adrien as well as extended family, numerous acquaintances and good friends. She was preceded in death by her parents and her brother, Donald Klein.
Bunny’s memorial service will be held Monday, June 12th, 2017 at 11:00 am at Congregation Har HaShem, 3950 Baseline Road in Boulder.
