Donna Ahlbrandt

Donna May Ahlbrandt, of Boulder, passed away on October 13, 2014 in Boulder, Colorado. Donna was born on December 21, 1934 in Minneapolis, Minnesota to Dagnor and Cecyl Olson. Donna was a loving and dedicated mother, grandmother, companion and friend to all who were lucky enough to know her. She also dedicated over 35 years and retired from the Boulder County Sheriff’s Department. She loved nature and animals. She was most at peace sitting alongside a stream in the mountains above Boulder or quietly reading a good book. She will be missed by many. Donna is survived by her children; Randy Evans, Edith Evans, Melanie Evans and Joel Todd; brother, David Headstrom; and grandchildren, Angel Evans and Alex Evans. A memorial service and reception will be on Saturday, October 18 at 2:00 at Greenwood and Myers Mortuary. In lieu of gifts or flowers a donation may be made to a charity of your choice.
