Elizabeth Ellis

Elizabeth Anne Tieskens Ellis, 74, of Lafayette, Colorado, beloved wife of Albert (Butch); loving mother of Josh, David (Chelsea), and Ashley (Nick); devoted daughter of the late Harry and Anna Josephine Tieskens; and dear grandmother of Parker, Poppy, Elijah, Oliver, Annabelle, and Everly.


Elizabeth was born on November 28, 1949 in Port Arthur, Texas. She graduated from Thomas Jefferson High School in 1968. She then went on to graduate from Abilene Christian College, where she was a charter member of the social club called Sigma Theta Chi, otherwise known as “Siggies”. Elizabeth also received a Masters Degree from Lamar University, became an Educational Diagnostician, and spent the majority of her career in Fort Bend ISD.


Elizabeth and Albert spent 53 wonderful years together. They started dating in October of 1970, then were married on December 23rd, 1973, and went on to have 3 beautiful children, and 6 wonderful grandchildren.


Elizabeth was an avid follower of Christ and continuously shared her faith with others, always letting people know how much they were loved by God.


She loved her family more than anything. Her children and grandchildren were the absolute joy and light of her life.
