Eloy “Arthur” Chavez of Broomfield, Colorado passed away on November 18th, 2011. Arthur was born on March 12, 1942 to Trinidad Chavez and Margaret Chavez-Abeyta in Denver, Colorado.
He was preceded in death by his parents, brother – Joseph Chavez and sister – Geraldine Rodriguez.
Arthur is survived by his children, Yvonne Chavez, Michelle McVay, Arthur Chavez and Wendy Kendall; grandchild Jude Chavez-McVay; siblings, Shirley and Joe Mestas; Eleanor Rivera, Connie Servantes and many nieces and nephews and close friends.
A memorial service will be at Calvary Church (1200 Miramonte Street, Broomfield, CO) on Wednesday, November 30 at 1:00. Viewing will be at the church at 12:00 noon before the service. Burial will follow the service at Mountain View Memorial Park in Boulder. There will be a dinner reception after the burial at Calvary Church.
