Everett Coleman

Everett E. Coleman, 85, of Boulder passed away on March 21, 2014 at Frasier Meadows. Everett was born to Ernest and Blanche Coleman on September 8, 1928 in Texas County, Oklahoma. Everett graduated from Boulder High School in 1946 and was married to Shirley Fraser on April 6, 1947. He spent many years working for Public Service as a pipefitter and serviceman. Everett was a lifelong member of the Boulder Elks Lodge #566, the Country Cousins Square Dance, the Columbiners Square Dance, Scootbacks Square Dance and IBEW 111. The Governor recognized Everett with a lunch for donating over 1000 pints of blood. He also spent many hours volunteering for the Community Food Share. Everett is survived by his wife, Shirley; children, Patti Chapman and Carol Schory (Curt); grandchildren, Vickie Palmer (Wylie), Stacy Higby (Mike), Matthew Huggins (Erin) and Meredith Post (Nicolas); seven great grandchildren and many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his brothers, Ivan and Frank and his sister Verda Oram. A memorial service will be on Tuesday, March 25 at 1:00 at the Boulder Elks Lodge. Charitable contributions may be made to the Community Food Share or Laredon Hall.
