Gregory Zalevsky, 77, of Boulder died peacefully in his sleep on July 7, 2015 at his home. Gregory was born to Yakov and Rebecca Zalevsky on January 9, 1938 in Kiev, Ukraine. Gregory graduated from college in Kiev and worked in automobile sales at Booth Motors. Lilly and Gregory were married on July 29, 1967 in Kiev. He enjoyed reading, sports and spending time with family. Gregory was a lovely man and wonderful husband and father. He brought his family out of the USSR into the United States in 1979. He attended school and worked multiple jobs to make ends meet and build a life for his family. He built a lovely home for everyone around him and welcomed everyone with open arms. Gregory had a dynamic personality and excellent sense of humor; he had the unique ability to make everyone around him better and smarter. He touched many people’s lives and he will be remember and missed. Gregory is survived by his wife, Lilly; children Larisa Cooper (Seth) and Jonathan Zalevsky (Katie DeFea); and grandchildren, Olivia Zalevsky, Emily Zalevsky, Miah Cooper and Reed Cooper.
