James Chaddic

James Ronal Chaddic Jr., age 76, of Longmont, Colorado, passed away on May 26, 2024, after a battle with cancer.

Jim was born on August 15, 1947 to James Chaddic and Marjorie Surface-Chaddic in Denver, Colorado. After Jim graduated from Mile High Academy in 1965 he went on to study Business Administration at Union College in Lincoln, Nebraska. He later earned his Masters Degree in Health Care Administration from Webster University in 1982.

After graduating with his business degree he was drafted into the Army in 1969 where he served for two years before being honorably discharged in 1971. After working to provide for his family he started his work in Health Care Administration at Porter Memorial Hospital kickstarting over a 25 year career that resulted in becoming the CEO of a hospital in Goodland, Kansas for ten years.

In 1966 Jim met Evie Pearson at Union College. Jim and Evie were married in 1968 and went on to have two sons, Gregory in 1969, and Jeffrey in 1971.

In 2014 Jim retired to care for his mother and enjoyed time with family and friends and doing the things he loved.

Jim was predeceased by his father and mother and his son, Jeff. He is survived by his wife, Evie, his son, Gregg, and his grandchildren, Megan, Braden and Garret. Jim will be greatly missed.

A Memorial Service will be held at the Campion Seventh-day Adventist church on June 15,2024 at 4:00 PM. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made directly to help offset expenses. More information on how to donate will be updated soon or contact the family directly.
