Jeffrey Dehnert

Jeffrey Paul Dehnert, 49, of Boulder, CO passed away on April 8, 2016. Jeff was born on February 28, 1967 in Aurora, IL to G. Paul Dehnert and Dianne (Hanson) Rines. Jeff graduated from West Aurora High School, Class of 1985. He enjoyed nature, hiking, mountain biking, music and was an animal rights supporter. He was also an avid Chicago and Denver sports fan. Jeff is survived by his parents, Donald and Dianne Rines; siblings, Michael (Dana) Dehnert, Kristin (Jessica) Dehnert, and Nathan Dehnert; maternal grandmother, Vera Hanson; and loving extended family and friends. He was preceded in death by his father, George Paul Dehnert; paternal grandparents, George and Celeste Dehnert; and maternal grandfather, Jerome Hanson. Memorial contributions may be made to the Humane Society of Boulder Valley (boulderhumane.org) or the City of Boulder Open Space and Mountain Parks (OSMP.org) at 66 S. Cherryvale Rd, Boulder, CO 80303. A private memorial service will be held at a later date.
