Joseph Bertron Jr., 84, of Erie, Colorado, passed away on July 5, 2014 at TRU Care in Louisville, Colorado. Joseph was born in Longmont, Colorado to Joseph and Clemmie (Remy) Bertron. After graduating from high school in 1948 he joined the United States Air Force and served four years as a radar operator. He served one year in Korea. He married Beverly Jean Domenico on August 17, 1952. They would have celebrated their 62nd anniversary next month. Joseph worked at Rocky Flats for 9 ½ years and then went into the construction business where he became a skilled and accomplished wood craftsman. He moved to Naples, Florida in 1988 and remained there until he retired and returned to Colorado. Joseph was a devoted and loving husband to his wife and a devoted loving father to his children Michael (Diana) Bertron, Lynnell (Dennis) Armstrong, Michele (Dave) Rohrbach, Thomas Bertron and Joni Bertron, and to his grandchildren Courtney Armstrong and Matthew (Desirae) Armstrong, and great grandchildren, Brycen Lee Armstrong and Tayler Jolene Armstrong. Joseph is survived by his wife, children Michael, Lynnell, Michele and Thomas; his sister Jacqueline Schroeder, brother Norman Bertron; grandchildren Courtney and Matthew (Desirae); great grandchildren Brycen and Tayler; and numerous nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents, daughter Joni Rae Bertron and nephew Chris Bertron. He will be remembered for this wit and jokes.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be on Monday, July 14, 2014, 10:00 A.M. at St. Francis of Assisi Catholic Church, Longmont, Colorado.
