July 23, 1964 – January 30, 2017

Laura Kriho, age 52, passed away in Boulder, CO, surrounded by loving family and friends. A long-time Colorado resident, Laura was an outspoken and tireless activist for cannabis reform, director of the Cannabis Therapy Institute and the Cannabis Hemp Academy, champion for medicinal marijuana and an inspirational advocate for fair judicial sentencing for minor drug offenses. Raised in Chicago, she attended and graduated from the University of Colorado where she was also recently employed with the College of Arts and Sciences. She is survived by her mother Virginia Kriho and brothers John Kriho and Nick Kriho, all of the Chicago area, and is pre-deceased by her beloved father Ralph Kriho and her loving husband Timothy Bailes of Colorado. She is also survived by her sister Lisa Adler of Atlanta, GA and her long-time friends in Colorado.

Memorial: Friday, February 3, 2017, 6pm visitation, 7pm memorial, Greenwood & Myers Mortuary. Bring photos and memories or post them online. Contributions or activism in her memory can be made to a cause of your choice in line with her values.
