October 20, 1986 – July 12, 2023
Lauren Covert, of North Miami Beach, Florida, passed away on July 12th. She was born in Boulder and grew up in Louisville and Superior, Colorado. Lauren attended Monarch High School, studied Classics at the University of Colorado Boulder, and graduated from St. Thomas University School of Law in Florida. She represented homeowners in insurance claim disputes. Lauren is survived by her parents, Bert Covert (Sherri Steele) and Kathleen Kimmel (Jerry Kimmel), and siblings Deirdre Jones (Jared Jones), Ashley Steele (Dale Arthurs), Jessica Kimmel, Rachael Wright (Jerry), and Jeremy Kimmel.
A celebration of her life will be held at Greenwood & Myers Mortuary, 2969 Baseline Road, Boulder, at 11 a.m. on Saturday, July 29th. If so inclined you may consider donating to the Boulder Humane Society.
