Mary Johnson

Mary Jane Johnson, 82, of Wheat Ridge, passed away on October 29, 2014 in Wheat Ridge. Mary Jane was born in Steamboat Springs on October 21, 1932 to Raymond and Ann Johnson. Mary Jane earned a B.A. from the University of Colorado in 1954. She worked for many years for Mountain Bell before retiring in 1990. Mary Jane enjoyed bowling and the local sports teams including the Rockies, Broncos and Nuggets. Mary Jane was a friend to all and devoted to her extended family and friends. Survivors include her cousins, Gary Potter and Bill Potter and many second cousins and close friends. Recitation of the Rosary will be on November 7 at 7:00 PM at Saints Peter and Paul Catholic Church. The funeral Mass will be on November 8 at 1:00 PM at Saints Peter and Paul. The burial will immediately follow Mass at Columbia Cemetery in Boulder. Contributions can be made to a charity of your choice or to the Columbia Cemetery Conservation Corps.
