Michael McKeown

Michael Joseph McKeown, 59, of Boulder passed away after a brief illness on April 7, 2015. Michael was born on September 19, 1955 in Binghamton, New York to James and Margaret McKeown. Michael and Sharon were married on May 24, 1980. Michael was a Principal Engineer in the Systems Integration & Test department at Ball Aerospace & Technologies Corp. He designed spacecraft wiring and electrical tests for many environmental and earth imaging satellites at Ball since 2003. Michael is survived by his wife, Sharon; daughter, Michaela; siblings, James (Karen), Thomas (Linda), Kevin, Molly (Woody), Jane (Jerry) and Karen; and his father, James. He was preceded in death by his mother Margaret. Donations may be made to University of Colorado Health at www.uch.thankyou4caring.org to benefit the cardiac vascular fund. A Memorial Mass will be Tuesday, April 14 at 9:00 at Sacred Heart of Jesus Catholic Church.
