Nancy Printz, 51, of Boulder, Colorado passed away on the morning of April 24, 2018, surrounded by her family. Nancy was born on January 5, 1967 in Atlanta, Georgia to Joseph and Jane Printz and grew up in Albuquerque, New Mexico, along with her younger sister Becky. Nancy earned a BA from Emory University and a JD Degree from Yale Law School, where she met her husband Eric Blank. Nancy and Eric were married on July 2, 1995, in Boulder, Colorado, where they had two fantastic children, Jake and Allie Blank. Nancy was an incredibly accomplished woman, practicing law for over 20 years in Colorado, both in private practice and as general counsel for a leading web hosting firm, before starting her own law practice at Darling & Printz LLC in 2005. Nancy was also passionate about helping children improve their lives through the power of education, which led her to co-found Opportunity Tree, a non-profit that helps low income children remain in school in Nicaragua. This same passion also led her to work helping Colorado children gain access to college resources through several local non-profits. A fluent Spanish speaker, Nancy enjoyed traveling (especially to Spanish speaking countries), reading, and spending time with the family. Nancy is a beloved mother, wife, sister, daughter, and friend, and is survived by her husband Eric Blank; children, Jake and Allie; parents, Joseph and Jane Printz; and sister, Becky Printz Freeman. A Remembrance will be held at 10:00 am on Wednesday, May 23, at the Jewish Community Center, 6007 Oreg Avenue, Boulder, CO 80303.
