Peter "Piper" Wyckoff

Piper Warner Wyckoff, 45, of Louisville, Colorado passed away on December 30, 2013 while vacationing with his family in Cancun, Mexico. Piper was born on July 2, 1968 in Buffalo, New York to Margot Rumsey Banta and Peter Goodyear Wyckoff. Piper graduated from high school at Avon Old Farms School and graduated from college at Skidmore College in Saratoga Springs, New York. Piper married Anna Lopez on May 24, 1997 in Palm Beach Gardens, Florida. Piper was the Vice President of Kitchens by Wedgewood, based in Louisville, CO. Piper had many passions including hockey, skiing and playing golf. He especially enjoyed golfing with family and friends at Lake Valley Golf Club in Boulder and the Dismal River Golf Club in Mullen, Nebraska. More important than anything was Piper’s unending love for his family and children. Piper is survived by his loving wife, Anna; his children, Warner Robert Wyckoff, Blake Miles Wyckoff and Gabriella Elizabeth Wyckoff; his mother, Margot Rumsey Banta of East Aurora, New York; his father, Peter Goodyear Wyckoff and his wife Sheila Mitchell Todd of Boulder Colorado; his siblings, Steven John Wyckoff of Austin, Texas and Wendy Goodyear Wyckoff of Boulder as well as many many close cousins. He was preceded in death by his stepfather, Robert Raymond Banta; his paternal grandparents Clinton and Dorothy Wyckoff; his maternal grandparents, Douglas and Elizabeth Rumsey and his cousin Clinton R. Wyckoff IV. The memorial service will be Wednesday, January 8, 2014 at 2:00 at Sacred Heart of Mary Church. A reception will follow at the Stadium Club at Folsom Field on the campus of the University of Colorado. Funeral services will be held in Buffalo, New York on Saturday, January 11, 2014 at 4:00 at Trinity Episcopal Church. There will be a private burial in Buffalo, New York.
