Robert McNelly

Robert Bruce McNelly, 63, peacefully passed away Sunday December 4th at his home in Boulder, Colorado. He is survived by his mother, Jean McNelly; son, John (JC) McNelly; daughter, Mary Jennifer McNelly; niece, Anne McNelly; and sister in-law, Barbra McNelly. He was predeceased by his wife, Mary Wilder; his brother, Mike McNelly; and his father, John McNelly. Rob was born in San Diego, California and moved to Colorado for college, where he settled down and later worked in the University of Colorado health physics lab as well as the Boulder wastewater treatment facility. Most recently he’s enjoyed living in the community of the Mesa Vista Facility in Boulder. Rob loved being outdoors, running, hiking, body surfing, reading, debating politics, laughing and making new friends anywhere he went. The family welcomes all friends to a memorial service to be performed by Rev. Mary Kate Rejouis at Greenwood Myers mortuary in Boulder Colorado on Friday December 9th 2016 at 2pm.
