Roy Shelton

Roy Julius Shelton, 78 of Boulder, passed away on May 30, 2017 in Boulder. Roy was born on September 23, 1938 to Haskell and Irene Shelton in Bethel, Washington. Sandra and Roy were married on April 6, 1964 in Seattle, Washington. Roy earned a B.S. degree from the University of Washington. Roy was a pilot in the United States Air Force flying the C-130 aircraft. After his military service, Roy started a career as an airline pilot. He was a proud member of the N.R.A. Roy is survived by his children, Spencer Shelton and Elisabeth Shelton; brother, Robert Shelton; and grandson, Preston Shelton. He was preceded in death by his wife, Sandra.
