Sharyn Hitchings

Sharyn Anne Hitchings, 69, of Lexington, Michigan passed away Sept. 23, 2014 in Longmont, Colorado.
Sharyn was born in Detroit, Michigan to John and Genevieve Jacoby on July 10, 1945. She went to high school at Port Huron High School and graduated in 1964. She went on to become Infant Nursery Supervisor in Early Childhood Development from Front Range Community College. She worked as an Infant Nursery Supervisor for TinyMinders DayCare & PreSchool, Inc. in Boulder, CO for the last 13 years. She enjoyed spending time with her family and friends. She will be sorely missed by her family, co-workers and the families she served over the years.
Sharyn was preceded in death by her parents, John and Genevieve Jacoby and her husband, Fred Hitchings.
Sharyn is survived by her son, Brad Hitchings of Edmond, OK, daughter Tricia Klomhaus and son in-law Jaime Klomhaus of Boulder, CO, granddaughter and grandson, Storm and Brock Klomhaus of Boulder CO, sister, Denise Stevens of Marysville, MI, brother and sister in-law Mike and Diane Jacoby of Port Charlotte, FL, sister in-law RuthAnn Roe of Boyton Beach, FL and many
nieces and nephews.
Donations sent to Greenwood & Myers Mortuary will be accepted to help children in need or to be donated to Hospice who was a great help and comfort in her final hours.
