Shirley W. Sollinger, 93, passed away Tuesday, August 9th, 2016 at Mesa Vista of Boulder
The daughter of Frederick Weil and Hazel Jane Gilbert, she was born July 28, 1923 in Mooers, NY and grew up in Clinton, NY. She earned her B.A in Music at Westminster Choir College in Princeton, NJ.

Shirley was a lovely, positive person always happy to see her friends and relatives. Much to the worry and fear of her family, Shirley loved to drive fast because, she explained, “it helps you to pay attention”. She worked as a librarian at the Thrall Library in Middletown, NY and was a member of the Daughters of the American Revolution.
Shirley was preceded in death by her husband and a brother, Alan Weil. She is survived by her children; grandchildren, Corey R. Sandusky, Leigh Sandusky, Miles Sollinger, Scott Kaiser and Samantha R. Sollinger; her brother, Gilbert Weil; nieces, Cheryl Hospodarsky, Sarah Weil and nephew David Weil.
