Stanley Clark

July 8, 1949 — May 26, 2015

Stanley Clark, a long-time resident of Boulder, died on Tuesday, March 26, 2015 at Applewood Living Center in Longmont. He was 65 years old. He was an active member of St. Thomas Aquinas Catholic Church and before his health failed served as a Eucharistic Minister. He was a member, past president and governor of the Boulder County Serra Club, which is a nonprofit organization that promotes vocations to the Ministerial Priesthood and Religious of the Catholic Church. Stan was also a member of the Boulder Evening Optimist Club for 35 years, since he was inducted into the organization by his father, Art Clark, and served as president in 2003. The mission of the Optimist Club is to promote the well-being of the youth of our community. Stan was also the Health and Welfare chairman of the club for many years and always made sure a member’s birthday, marriage, illness or other important event did not go unnoticed and quite often remembered the occasion with a card, potted plant or other form of
recognition. Stanley, an only child, was preceded in death by his parents, Art and Alice Clark.

Visitation and Recitation of the Rosary will be on Monday, June 1 at 6:30 PM at Greenwood and Myers Mortuary. Mass of Christian Burial will be on Tuesday, June 2 at 10:00 AM at Saint Thomas Aquinas Catholic Church.
