Terry Reichenberger Nov 28, 1951 to Dec 7, 2020
Terry Reichenberger was born on November 28th 1951, in Brooklyn New York, to Veronica Jellicoe and Philip Reichenberger. Terry grew up in Huntington, New York. At a young age Terry had a passion, and natural gift, for baseball. Growing up, Terry was an all-star baseball player that was often featured in the Huntington Newspaper. Terry graduated from Whitman High School in 1969. He got a BA in architecture at Metro State University.
Terry was an avid outdoorsman. He loved fishing, waterskiing, hunting, camping. and skiing. In 1972 Terry hitch hiked across the country, from Long Island to Boulder. He fell in love with Boulder, CO
Terry started working for the City of Boulder Water Treatment Plant in 1978. He retired as the supervisor in 2006. He oversaw the Water Treatment School that was held at the University of Colorado every year. He was passionate about water conservation and clean water
Terry and Kerrin got married in 1993 and had a wonderful life together for 27 years. Terry was a loving and dedicated father to Sarah and Matthew.
He was a fabulous cook, could fix anything, His nickname was MacGyver. He loved cars and enjoyed driving his corvettes, motorcycles and motorboats.
He is survived by his loving wife Kerrin, his daughter Sarah, and son Matthew, his brother Rick and sister Alyse. He is preceding in death by his sister Susan Pisacano.
Terry took great pride in his family. He was a role model to all on how to be wonderful husband, father and friend. Terry lived by the philosophy “treat people the way you want to be treated”. He will be greatly missed by all who knew him.
