Toni was born April 26th, 1968 in Los Angeles, CA to Catherine Moisa and John Valdez. She was the first child of her generation in her very large, very close family. In 1978, her mother Catherine remarried to Eulalio Landres. At that time Toni was introduced to her stepbrother Len Landres and her stepsister Candace Landres. They all attended South Gate High School together and were nearly inseparable. Her baby brother Michael was born in 1980. Toni loved dearly her Aunt Cookie and her cousins Aron, Adrienne, Armando, Gilbert and Tianna. She loved spending Christmases with them and every time she was around, joyous, unforgettable times were had. Toni excelled in high school and her along with Candace and Len joined various extracurricular clubs and remained very active in them. Toni graduated in 1986 with High Honors and was voted "Most Likely to Succeed". She went on to attend Cal Berkley and received her Bachelors in English. She moved to Boulder, CO to find new adventures. She attended the Naropa University and obtained her Masters in Psychology. Anywhere she worked and anything did she used her strengths to become one of the highest performing and one of the most influential. She was very loyal and dedicated to become the best she could. She last worked at Xetawave and was so excited to be a part of the company and help build something new, and Xetawave was just as excited to have her. Unfortunately, her passing cut that opportunity short, but Toni left behind so much love and influence that her talents will not be lost without her. Toni was so successful and so good at everything she put her mind to, be it school, work, but most of all her friendships. She was always so selfless and no matter how busy she was she would always find the time to help one who needed her in anyway be it financially, emotionally, or professionally. The world lost a beautiful soul, a friend, a mentor, a confidante, a cousin, a niece, an aunt, a sister, a daughter. Everyone who knew her feels her loss. And we will never forget her. Rest In Peace, Toni Marie....until we meet again.
