Wilda Jersin

Wilda Jersin, 81, of Pueblo, Colorado passed away on Tuesday evening February 19, 2013 surrounded by her loving family. She was born on August 21, 1931 in Pueblo to William and Susan Starr. On February 14, 1966 Wilda and Edward were married at Saint Elizabeth Church in Denver. Wilda spent many years working as a telephone operator for Mountain Bell. Gardening and tending to her flowers were favorite hobbies of Wilda’s. She loved spending time with her grandchildren, Liam and Grace. Wilda is survived by her husband, her daughter Rhonda Gallagher (Dan), siblings, Bill Starr (Esther), Delva Ross and Harold Starr, her grandchildren Liam Gallagher and Grace Gallagher and many nieces and nephews. Visitation will be at 9:30 A.M. on Friday, February 22 followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at Sacred Heart of Jesus Catholic Church at 10:00 A.M. A reception will immediately follow Mass. Interment and graveside services will be Saturday, February 23 at 11:30 at Roselawn Cemetery in Pueblo.
