William Joseph Lousberg, 79, of Frederick, Colorado passed away on April 21, 2014 at Good Samaritan Hospital in Lafayette. Bill was born on April 26, 1934 in Fleming, Colorado to William and Mary Berg Lousberg. After graduating from Boulder High School in 1952, Bill served two years in the Army. In 1965 Bill and Sherrill Paquette were married. Bill lived his entire life in Colorado. He worked in both farming and construction in Boulder and Wiggins. After retiring in 2010 Bill moved to Frederick. Bill was a member of the Boulder Rural Volunteer Fire Department and Boulder Elks Lodge #566. Bill took great interest in his family, and especially enjoyed being with his grandchildren. He loved camping in the mountains and snow birding in the RV during the winter months with friends and relatives. His Catholic religion was extremely important to him. Over the years Bill built many great friendships through his kindness, generosity and an enjoyable sense of humor. Bill is survived by his wife, Sherrill; sons, Jay Lousberg (Khanny) of Wiggins and Jim Lousberg of Wiggins; grandchildren, Shawnee of Loveland, Ellyna, Kelli, and Jason of Wiggins and Kyle of Fort Collins. He is survived by five sisters and two brothers. Bill was preceded in death by two sons, Jeffrey William Lousberg and Joel Adam Lousberg. A visitation will be on Tuesday, April 29 at Saint Theresa Catholic Church in Frederick starting at 6:00 with recitation of the Rosary at 7:00. A Mass of Christian Burial will be on Wednesday, April 30 at 11:00 AM at Saint Theresa Catholic Church. Burial will be on Thursday, May 1 at 11:00 AM at Hoyt Cemetery in Hoyt, CO.
