William Spotts

Lieutenant William J. Spotts Sr. (Bill) passed away on December 2, 2014. Bill was born on March 1, 1942 in Mankato, Minnesota to Glen and Helen Spotts. Bill earned an Associate Degree in Law Enforcement after being Honorably discharged from the United States Air Force. Bill worked for the Boulder Police Department for many years. Bill loved the outdoors, camping, off roading, a good cigar and being with his sons and grandchildren. He is survived by his sons, Williams John Spotts Jr. and Jeffrey John Spotts; grandchildren, Christopher John Spotts, Austin Lane Spotts, Landon Lee Spotts and Riley Pauline Spotts; sister, Janice Grace Salker; and ex-wife, Karen. He was preceded in death by his parents and brother, Glen Roy Spotts Jr. and sister in law, Catherine Kay Spotts and brother in law, Bill Salker.
