Winona Miller

Winona Wright Miller, 91, of Boulder passed away peacefully on March 21, 2018 in Boulder. Winona was born on September 17, 1926 in Wilson, New York to Alexander and Grace Wright. Noni and John Thayer were married in 1946. They raised six children together in Niagara Falls, NY. In 1984 Noni married Douglas Miller, they lived in East Northport, NY until his death in 2010. Noni is the oldest of five siblings (Gerry (Jean), Willa, Pete and Patricia). She was raised on a farm in upstate New York and lived most of her adult life on Long Island. She enjoyed gardening, puzzles, birds and all that was good in this world. She spent her last six years in Boulder surrounded by family where she enjoyed entertaining family and friends in her Boulder home, with what see be an unlimited supply of love and caring. Noni was mom to all. Noni is survived by her children, Dave Thayer (Diane), John Thayer (Jei), Terri Thayer Micene, Patrick Thayer (Teri), Kathryn Clark (John) and Jeffrey Thayer (Christine); stepchildren, Dyanne and Andy (Cathleen); grandchildren, Jake, Jesse, Nicole, Matt, Alex (Therese), Jainen (Sarah), Rachel (Warren), Nate, Casey, Megan, Brenna, Brad (Megan), Billy, Gabby and Jack; and great grandchildren, Kian, Eve, GiGi, Kailyn, Eli, Hannah, Braxton and Mary Jane.
